The 7.0-magnitude earthquake that struck Haiti has caused incredible hardships, and survivors are in dire need of basic supplies and support.

If you’d like to help out, here are a few organizations accepting donations:

• American Red Cross - Goes to their International Response Fund

• You can also donate $10 by texting "HAITI" to "90999." The $10 donation will go automatically to the Red Cross to help with relief efforts and will be charged directly to your cell phone bill.

• AmeriCares Help For Haiti - Goes to their International Disaster Relief Fund

• Clinton Foundation

• HaitiArise - A registered Canadian charity and reports that 100 percent of donated funds go directly to Haiti.

• Haiti Emergency Relief Fund - Established for Haiti before the Earthquake.

• Mercy Corps - Mercy Corps' website is devoted to the Haiti Earthquake Disaster

• Partners In Health - Use the drop-down menu to specify donations to Haiti.

• Yele Haiti - Wyclef Jean’s Haiti initiative to assist his native Haiti

• UNICEF - UNICEF has set up a special page for donations for the children of Haiti.
